"Samaria gorge in two days"

This is an experience you will never forget! The Samaria gorge is the longest gorge in Europe, about 17 kilometres total. The Samaria gorge is an impressive hiking tour and we will make sure to take the time to enjoy the fantastic nature of this gorge.

To enjoy the Samaria fully, we always suggest that you stay overnight at the end of the gorge, in the beautiful village Agia Roumeli. You are then able to start your hiking tour at a reasonable time and relax in the evening in a lovely quiet tavern, after all the last tourists have left on the ferryboat.

Your guide will take you through the gorge, and teach you about all the interesting nature and many other facts. After breakfast we will leave on the ferryboat to visit another village. From this village we will take a taxi or bus back to our car. You are free to decide to either go back to Gournes or visit the town Rethimnon or another small Cretan village.
