We will cycle from Gournes Pediados off-road to Kalo Chorio. In Kalo Chorio we will visit an old historic windmill. From this spot you will have a magnificent view over sea. At an old traditional kafenion we will drink coffee. Kalo Chorio means “good village” in Greek, we believe that it is indeed a very good village.

We will continue our cycle tour off-road to the village Messa Potamies, wich means: “in the river”. The road to the villages leads us to a steep path, wich maybe a few of our bicyclers have to do by foot. We will continue our cycle tour trough lots of old kalderines, just like the “Gournes rail 01”.

When we reach the top of our destination after 5 kilometers we will make a stop at a nice church. Afterwards we will cycle through woods of olive trees, agaves and lots of other wild nature. In this area you are able to spot lots of different birds. Next to the paths grows a lot of “vaskomilo”, a lovely smelling herb, you can make lovely tea of this herb.

We will enjoy our lunch in Messa Potamies. After our lunch, you are able to visit a small deserted monastery. After our visit to the monastry we follow an impressive off-road track and will arrive on the end of our tour in Pano Gouves. From Pano Gouves we will cycle back via a surprising off-road track to Gournes Pediados.

The total tour is 58 kilometers, through mountains and hills.
