During the school holidays in the summer we organize several excursions for your children. For example: Greek cooking for kids, pizza making contest, drawing and painting afternoon, puzzle tour, mystery night walk, beach volleyball, beach football, kids hiking in the mountains, etc. At Zorbas there is a free public computer, WI-FI, pool billiards and darts available for everybody.

Crete has always been a very child-loving island, and our accommodation is perfect for children. Your only problem is that the children will want to return many times to Zorbas. We can provide you with special plug-in device that protects against mosquitoes (also available at supermarket Sylvia within walking distance from Zorbas apartments). It is important to be careful with mosquitoes, especially concerning the little ones.

Temperature on Crete: our apartments are cool during the summer and warm in the winter! Zorbas accommodation in Gournes has great isolation, so you will not have a problem in the summer or winter. Each apartment has its own ventilator on the ceiling. In the summer time a ventilator offers you a natural cool breeze, which also chases the mosquitoes.

There are plenty of nice games available for your children on Zorbas! We regularly organize puzzle tours for the little ones. Children over 4 years old are usually very enthusiastic about our jeep safaris, especially if we bring our water guns.

Medical care for children on Crete Greece: in each apartment you will find a brochure about medical care, available 24 hours. Medical care on Crete has very high standards. There are several medical centres in the area, with multilingual personnel especially for you.

We offer a wide range of special children’s fruit cocktails and ice creams at Zorbas.

International television on Crete: we can provide you with an international television if you wish. Please let us know upfront if you would like to have an international television in your apartment.

In the garden of Zorbas, you will find our swimming pool. For the very little ones, we can always provide you with a special children’s puddle bath! We can assure you children can not easily leave the garden without being noticed.

Puzzle tour on Crete: we organize for our guests a nice adventurous puzzle tour through Crete. We will leave with our cars 10 minutes after each other from the accommodation. Everyone has to answer the same questions and we will for sure pass each other on our way! We will stop for a lunch together in the South of Crete and continue our puzzle tour back to base. In the evening we will announce the winner of the puzzle tour with fun prices! This puzzle tour is very popular with our young guests.
