The Zorbas Island apartments
At Zorbas Island you will feel at home immediately. We welcome you in your own language and we provide you with all necessary information while we bring you to one of the 20 apartments or 2 holiday homes. The apartments are directly on the coast, about a 15 minute drive east from the Heraklion airport. The eye catcher of the Zorbas Island apartments is definitely the beautiful swimming pool with a breath taking view over the sea and a few meters away from the beach.

Kokkini Hani
The apartments are ideally located in a peaceful spot, close to roads needed to explore the island, yet only 5 minutes away by foot from the village centre. The village itself is an interesting mix of locals and tourism and lives and breathes all year round. Besides the bus stop, the pharmacy and several ATM’s you will find many small shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

The apartments

All the apartments are surrounded by beautiful gardens. Everything you need is available: fridge, cooking area, water boiler, air-conditioning, even a hair dryer in the bathroom. Twice a week your apartment will be cleaned including a change of towels and once a week of your linen. Would you like to come with a group of people? Not a problem, there are three spacious holiday homes on the premises that easily accommodate six persons, you could even choose to stay all winter (on request)

The taverna
Located next to the gorgeous swimming pool is the pool bar and taverna. The inviting atmosphere of both bar and restaurant has made it a meeting point not only for guests but for many locals as well. We prepare all dishes fresh on a daily basis, at breakfast you will see the chef pass by loaded with the daily shoppings. The breakfast consists of coffee, tea, orange juice, fresh bread, various cold cuts, eggs, cereals, etc. etc. etc. A lot of attention is spent on the dinner. It is different every evening, consists of a variety of dishes. Should you have specific dietary needs, please let us know in advance.

Single or traveling alone
The apartments are very suitable for singles and those traveling alone. Especially in low season we organize many different activities where you will not only discover the real Crete but will also make a lot of new friends.

High season

During the summer school holidays we have put together a fun-packed program for our younger guests. Whether it’s a walk, a snorkelling trip or a trip to the Waterpark, every child ends up making new friends and wishing to come back.
The most important ingredient at Zorbas Island is the amazing hospitality… as warm as a freshly drawn bubble bath. Everyone, from gardener to owner, is multi lingual and will be happy to answer any of your questions, solve problems or give information. If you do need something, we are more than happy to help.
